I’d love one. It fixes the biggest problem I have with the current Mustang: lack of useful space.
(I have 2 kids in car seats, I need a functional back seat and room for a stroller. While I wouldn’t use the car often for hauling the kids, I don’t want to buy a car that can’t carry the family in case of emergency)

Mustang Sportwagon would be sweeeet. But, Ford being Ford, it would get a lift, cladding, and AWD.
Wait a sec, a Mustang Cross (Mule?) Would be really cool.

This doesn't sound so bad until they just rename the Escape and tell us it has "Mustang DNA"

The trunk space is adequate, you could fit a stroller and some other kid gear. The biggest problem would be the rear seats, they are a joke.

I wouldn’t really call that a useful trunk, that opening is pretty awkward for anything longer than a couple feet.
Honestly, I could live with the tiny trunk, I can’t use the tiny back seat.

I have just one requirement for this to be awesome. the hatch needs to open up way forward, like right at the B pillar. I’m very sad that this feature is lost on the new Veloster as it was the best thing on that car.
